Treatment Through Medication
The real answer is that there is no asthma cure. It is just like there is no acne cure. Fortunately, asthma can be treated with medication. Consult your doctor and you will be give two main types of asthma medication. They are the anti-inflammatory, and bronchodilators.
1. Anti-inflammatory asthma medication is a steroid that is delivered to the airway through an inhaler. The steroid or corticosteroid acts as an airway strengthener which helps decrease the mucus production and reduce the swelling caused by a reaction to irritants.
2. Bronchodilators relax the lining of the bronchial tubes allowing more air to flow through. When someone encounters an asthma attack, his airways swell and constrict which makes his breathing extremely difficult.

If you are allergic to smoke, stay away from smokers. Places such as pub and outdoor cooking might not be a safe place for you.
If your asthma is triggered by strenuous activity such as running and swimming, you might need to adapt to a lighter exercise. It doesn’t mean that you drop those exercises immediately. Just cut back on the time of training. If you are swimming 1000m, try to swim 500m.
